Recently, Canada's Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon expressed grave concern over the newest and bloodiest chapter in the story of the Gaza conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas. In response to the conflict’s recent escalation, the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement encouraging both parties to reach a “sustainable and durable ceasefire”.
Despite the UN’s noises to the contrary, however, no such ceasefire will be possible so long as agents of radical Islam remain in control of the Palestinian enclave.
In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, President Bush declared that the Western world was at war with terrorism. This label obfuscates the reality of our struggle. Make no mistake: the current conflict is no more a war on “terrorism” than World War II was a war on panzer tanks. Although it is true that terrorism is the means that our enemies employ, the real enemy is the ideology that inspires its use: radical Islamism.
Lawrence Cannon’s plea for a “sustainable and durable ceasefire” in the Gaza Strip will forever remain a pipe dream so long as the area is controlled by Hamas or any other like-minded Palestinian terrorist group. If the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs truly wishes to encourage the achievement of peace in Gaza, it will support its great ally Israel in the exercise of its self-defense and help eradicate the threat that radical Islamism poses to the free people of the Western world.

Don't Tell The Terrorists But ...
... There's a huge flaw in that TSA no-fly list thing.
CBC:
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security wrote a letter to Labbé in 2004, saying he had been placed on their watch list after falling victim to identity theft. At the time, the department said there was no way for his name to be removed.
Although Labbé wrote letters to the U.S. department, his efforts were in vain, prompting him to legally change his name.
"So now, my official name is François Mario Labbé," he said.
"Then you have to change everything: driver's license, social insurance, medicare, credit card — everything."
Although it's not a big change from Mario Labbé, he said it's been enough to foil the U.S. customs computers.
Touché, Mr. Labbé. Touché.

Finally, The Truth About The Holocaust
Courtesy of Hamas TV.
Thank Allah that someone had the courage and insight to see through the smoke and mirrors of the Holocaust and finally expose it for what it truly was: a zany trick dreamed up by teh Joooooos!
AllahPundit:
Given the magnitude of jihadists’ many sins — murder, misogyny, incitement to genocide — historical revisionism is comparatively small, but still useful as an insight into that special blend of willful ignorance and spectacular ruthlessness we know and hate them for. Propaganda in this vein helps them among Arabs, I guess, as a way of delegitimizing Israel, but it’s poisonous to their credibility in (most of) the west. So why do it? Just to rub some salt in the wound. If you’re willing to kill civilians, why wouldn’t you be willing to torment them by pissing on their parents’ graves?

Will The Real Kurt Westergaard Please Stand Up?
Jaunty little piece from Gateway Pundit (incredible blog by the by, definitely gets the Canadian Republic Stamp o' Approval).
You see, this is the problem with ethnic homogeneity. You want to murder the creator of a cartoon that mocks the prophet of your religion, but everyone in the damn country has the same name. So there's nothing for it but to call and threaten them all, I suppose.
Kurt Westergaard is the Danish cartoonist who drew the now famous cartoon of "Mohammad the bomb" that was published in Jyllands-Posten.
Westergaard has been living under police protection since Islamists started rioting and killing people over the 12 cartoons. On February 12, 2008, the Danish Security and Intelligence Service PET announced the arrest of three Islamists - two Tunisians and one Dane of Moroccan origin - alleged to have been planning the murder of Westergaard.
But, Kurt Westergaard is not the only Kurt Westergaard in Denmark. In fact there are actually 81 other Kurt Westergaard's in Denmark.
One of those non-cartoonist Kurt Westergaard's [sic] has also been receiving death threats. In fact, he has received several death threats. And, his wife and 3 children are also getting calls. The Islamists promise that they will murder him and kidnap his children. Nice.
But, they have the wrong Kurt Westergaard. So now Kurt Westergaard #2 is also living under police protection.
My best wishes go out to all 82 Kurt Westergaards in Denmark. Don't worry, they probably can't get all of you.

Fun Times With Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: Israel Is A "Filthy Bacteria"
I, for one, am deeply comforted that he doesn't hate Jews because a casual observer may be inclined to note his consistent anti-Jew rhetoric and conclude that he is, in fact, decidedly anti-Semitic in the majority of his actions and words. Especially considering his position at the head of the government of an Islamic dictatorship making strides towards nuclear technology, a casual observer couldn't be blamed for thinking Iran poses a very legitimate threat to the Jewish state and by extension its allies. Of course, we know better because he says he's not anti-Semitic
Story from The Jerusalem Post:
In yet another verbal attack against Israel, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called the Jewish state a "filthy bacteria" whose sole purpose was to oppress the other nations of the region.
"The world powers established this filthy bacteria, the Zionist regime, which is lashing out at the nations in the region like a wild beast," the Iranian president told supporters at a rally in southern Iran.
"[Israel] won support [from the other nations] which created it as a scarecrow, so as to keep the people of this area under control," Ahmadinejad said.
Referring to the assassination of Hizbullah terror chief Imad Mughniyeh, the Iranian leader said that Israel "uses terror as a threat every day, and afterwards is happy and joyful."
Emphasis mine.
You know, I bet "filthy bacteria" is a term of endearment, kind of like how the rappers call each other "dogs." On the face of it, it sounds pretty insulting but when considered in its cultural context it isn't so bad.
You see? Rationalizing ourselves out of danger is our best foreign policy option in today's turbulent international community. Self-delusion is much safer than actually confronting our potential problems.

Good News: Nahoul The Jew-Hating Bee Dies, Bad News: Replaced By Assud The Jew-Eating Rabbit
Fresh from the brilliant minds behind the flourishing martyrs-via-child-indoctrination movement in Palestine. Aren't cartoons fun?
Here's a bit of background:
Remember him? Via Israel Matzav, MEMRI gives us what Palestinian Media Watch couldn’t — the compelling backstory to Assud, the Jew-eating rabbit. As I’m writing this, Fox News is airing a promo for a segment on Assud, thereby confirming our suspicions that the crucial variable to western media in exposing Palestinian Nazi propaganda is whether it contains a cartoon character the audience will recognize.
This makes two dead ‘toons in eight months, the other being Farfour, who was duly beaten to death on air by an evil Zionist agent. Favorite moment here: Some idiot giving CPR to a giant bee. Lost opportunity: Death by illness instead of an Israeli missile strike, which would have warranted a patented Palestinian car swarm featuring dozens of your favorite jihadi plushies.
